ethical brand: baggu

BAGGU produces a small but versatile collection of bags and carrying cases. Leather items are produced in New York City and canvas and nylon items are made ethically in China.

bagguI contacted Baggu to ask for details about their international labor practices. A kind representative by the name of Carlos answered with the following:

Our factory in China adheres to strict fair wage, fair labor practices and is inspected regularly. Our manufacturing agent has been working with them for years, and we feel very good about supporting their business…

By supporting ethically run factories in China, we hope to have a positive impact on the labor practices in China, at least in a small way.

Thanks, Carlos! And thanks for your transparency and consideration, Baggu.
