etsy lately

So long as you’re not being conned by fraudulent resellers, etsy remains one of the best resources for ethically produced goods on the internet. I love looking over my favorites list, so I thought I’d share a few items with you. This may turn into a bi-weekly feature if it’s something that seems useful and pleasant.

etsy favorites

  1. Daniel just bought me this charming print from The Black Apple.
  2. I love simple, organic jewelry like this amethyst pendant necklace by My So Called Vintage.
  3. I like the texture and color of this little bird print by LorisWorld.
  4. These faceted cups were made by Samantha Carter of Half Light Honey Studio. We lived in the same dorm freshman year!
  5. I’ve had these vintage deadstock wedges (sold by nemres) on my list for awhile.

Thanks for your great post here. Sustainability + Capitalism = Etsy. ❤

It's truly the best online marketplace. Even the resellers don't bother me a bit; in fact many of them resell neat vintage items that are often not easy to find elsewhere. Another great feature is that you can search geographically, so if you want something hand-made from Paris, it's extremely easy to find, or if you prefer to buy locally, that's easy to do as well!

<– Just bought someone special several presents on there.

    Totally reblogging 🙂

Thanks for your comments. I guess I should clarify that I meant resellers of new, often imported, goods under the guise of handmade or vintage. I myself am an etsy vintage seller and I love that they provide a platform for vintage as well as handmade. – Leah

Etsy is the best online marketplace of all time. Please check out this blogger’s great examples of merch found there. “Style Wise” has a lot of other great content as well.
