the moral wardrobe: make do

easter outfit easter outfit

I’d been eyeing a yellow vintage dress from a downtown vintage store for the past two weeks, hoping I would be able to come up with the money to buy it for Easter. But time passed and money was tight, so I looked in my closet and made do.

It worked out nicely, anyway, because I hadn’t even worn this thrifted skirt yet.

Ethical choices are bolded below:

  • Striped Top – Thrifted
  • Skirt – Thrifted
  • Belt – Vintage
  • Shoes – Kohl’s
  • Earrings – Vintage Bakelite

  1. I have a top very similar to the one you are wearing. I would never have thought to tuck it into a floral skirt, but I love how you did! Thanks for the inspiration!
