I often do research on fast fashion retailers’ labor and production standards without posting it here. Providing a link doesn’t make for an interesting post, but I’d like to help those interested in conscientious consumer practices navigate resources with ease.

First up, Topshop:

Topshop is not a member of the Ethical Trading Initiative, but claims to have integrated the organization’s policies into the framework of their production process. They certainly can’t be considered fair trade or eco-conscious, but – like most UK-based companies – they’re interested in taking steps toward healthier and more sustainable business practices.
